The Christmas Tag

Hello everybody,

As it's December 1st tomorrow, I thought I would start the Christmas season off right, by doing the Christmas Tag!  Hopefully you find this fun and interesting to read, leave me a comment of your answers to the questions below :).

LETS GO:

1. What is your favourite Christmas film?

My favourite Christmas film either has to be Home Alone (1+2) or Elf.

2) Have you ever had a white Christmas?

I have had one as I can remember, about 8 years ago in snowed Christmas eve and I remember waking up to snow.  But we haven't had one since.  Where I live we mostly have our snow in Jan or Feb.

3) Where do you usually spend your holiday?

Always always at home, I don't really like Christmas day to change, I love tradition.  So we always have Christmas dinner at my house and my grandparents come up as well :).  Boxing day is usually when we go see the rest of the family.

4) What is your favourite Christmas song?

Awhh there are so many I love, my top three are probably:  All I want for Christmas - Mariah Carey, Fairytale of New York - The Pogues and Oh I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday by Wizzard "It's CHRISTMASSSSS"

5) Do you open any presents of Christmas Eve?

I always get some new PJs and my mum and dad wrap them up for me to open.  When I was younger each Christmas Eve I would get a new teddy as well.  Sadly that stopped when I got to about 15 hehehe.  For some strange reason they thought I was too old, and had too many Teddy's.  Pfft, don't know where that crazy idea came from :').

Christmas morning in my new Pjs carrying my Christmas eve toy hehe. (age 9 hehe).

6) Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?

Ohhh ermmm well there is, Prancer, Dancer, Dasher, Blitzen, Comet and ermm... Rudolf haha, I don't think he counts does he... so I guess I can't name they all.

7) What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

I love putting the christmas decorations up, eating the first Mince Pie of the year and having a glass of Bucks Fizz.  Decorating the Christmas tree is my speciality.  I also can't wait to go Christmas shopping for peoples presents.

8) Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake, it has white snow on the end of it hehe.

9) What is your all time favourite holiday food/sweet?

I do love a good Mince Pie, and I love love love Christmas dinner, stuffing, gravy, turkey <333 hashtag treats! hehe.

10) Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

Ooo that's hard.  I love getting presents of course but I really love watching my family and friends open a present I got them, when you know you put a lot of thought it in the present and when their face lights up, it's just great!.

Me, Christmas 2004... OMG, this was 10 years ago! :O.  (Sorry, just has the realisation hehe).

11) What is the best Christmas gift you've ever received?

Honestly I couldn't say, my family and friends know me so well so each year I always do well, and I am always very thankful.

12) What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

100%, hands down, no question about it... NEW YORK!!  I dream so badly of going to New York for Christmas and New Year.  Even both of my favourite Christmas films are set in NY hehe.  I think my mum and I and possibly my Nana are going to New York when I am 21.

13) Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

I am a pro-present wrapper (it did take years of practice though hehe).  However, I am only good when I go at my own pace.  I can't do it quick at all.

14) Most memorable Holiday moment?

When I was about eight, my mum and dad woke me up at about 3:00am, and surprised me with a trip to the North Pole to go find the real Father Christmas.  When I was little this was the most amazing thing that could have happened, we rid Husky dogs, reindeer (and an Elf told me my one was Rudolf hehe).  It was amazing.

Me and my large Snowman hehe.

Awhh that pout dough hehe.  Ski time ^_^.

15) What made you realise the truth about Santa?

What do you mean? :/  Santa is real, pfft.  Stupid question.

16) Do you make New Years resolutions?  Do you stick to them?

Yes and no haha.

17) What makes the holidays special for you?

Honestly I just love this whole time of year Halloween, My birthday and Christmas.  Autumn/Winter is just full of so much joy for me :).

I hope you enjoyed this post, please leave your response below, I would love to read your answers.

What I Got For My Birthday

Hello Everybody,

It was my 19th birthday on November 8th.  I didn't have a massive party, as I did that last year for my 18th.  You can watch a small video if you would like of my 18th birthday on my YouTube channel.  CLICK ME.

Any way I digress; it was my 19th birthday on the 8th and I thought it would be fun to share with you what I got ^_^.

Disclaimer I am honestly not bragging, I more want this post for myself, I love documenting what I got for birthdays or Christmas as it's a great way to remember what you got.  I usually just write the list in my dairy, but now I update my blog more often this seemed more appropriate.  Plus I love watching these videos on YouTube.  I find them really useful, especially as Christmas is coming up.  What people got me for my birthday may give you some ideas for Christmas presents you may want for yourself or others.

Okay, lets go...

Off my parents I got this beautiful ring from Monica Vinader.  It's a Rose Gold diamond shape ring with small Diamonds in the Diamond hehe.  I asked for this as I already have a ring from MV and I wanted to grow my collection hehe (plus their jewellery is just pure beauty!).

The picture doesn't show even 10% of how beautiful the ring is.  Have a look on the MV website if you would like to see more details on the ring. (click me).

Secondly off my parents I got a new pair of headphones.  I wasn't excepting headphone but they have came in so handy.  Too often I am stealing my dad's headphones for studying (and I am sure he doesn't want that to keep happening hehe).  I find headphones are so much easier to study with instead of earphones.  These headphones are soundproof so you don't have to have the music dead loud just so you don't hear what's going on in the background.

Off my Nana and Grandad on my mum and dads side I got these boots from River Island.  I absolutely love the colour.  I do need to break them in however, as I wore them waling around Liverpool and my feet were killing.  But no doubt it won't take long to break them in :).
(Link to the shoes).

Off my Auntie and Uncle, they got me this gorgeous bracelet.  I am afraid I don't have a link to it, as it came from a small boutique where I live.

Off my other grandparents and my other other Aunties and Uncles, I got a mixture of money and Topshop vouchers, I have saved the money but the Topshop vouchers were spent on a turtle neck jumper and a leopard print top with a small turtle neck.

From my friend Louisa,  she got me two t-shirts.  This amazing Star Wars one.  And she also got me a super cute TFIOs one, however that one was in the wash when I decided to take the pictures.  It was all black and says "okay, okay" on it hehe.

From my friend Emily, she got me this super cute notebook from Paperchase.  Emily knew I was fan-girling over this notebook whilst we are away, so she sneakily bought it when I was waiting outside hehe.  Emily also got me a disney headband and an Olaf pen (OMMMGGG OLAF!!) everyone in school is very jealous of my pen.

To accompany this fabulous presents she threw in lots of delicious sweets and chocolates, however of course I ate them all by the time I took this picture hehe.

Lastly off my friend (who's basically my little sister) Leonie she got me a bed socks and hot water bottle set from New Look and Lynx female set, from well Lynx hahaha.  She was so worried I wouldn't like them, but I loved them.  The socks are so warm and the Lynx set smells lovely, I have never used Lynx before so it was something new for me to try.

(Okay I know the socks are missing, they were also in the wash hehe).

And that was everything I got :D.  I love all my presents, and I hope this gave you some ideas what to get your friends for Christmas, or what to ask for for yourself for Christmas (wow, that was a lot of "fors" in one sentence hehe).

PEACE BROS!,

Liverpool (Halloween).

Hello there,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, school is making me v v busy atm (slang in a blog post, of course).  I am really sorry, but I am back with a Halloween post :D.  In the half term myself and my two friends (Emily and Annie) went to Liverpool to stay with our friend Louisa.  She is at university studying Media Production.  These girls are literally my rat pack, they're my bestest friends and since summer we haven't all been together because everyone is doing separate things.  So I was very excited to go to Liverpool for a few days.

Our excited selfie because we had just checked in hehe.

We left on Thursday the 30th.  Emily and I got a flight and it was delayed FOUR HOURS!!!  We were meant to leave at 8 but it didn't go till 12.  At first I was so annoyed (I can't even explain how annoyed/upset I was).  However in the end, the time went really quick and we had a really funny morning in the airport; playing guess the song (annoying the other passengers no doubt).

When we got in to Liverpool city centre we dropped our suitcase off and went straight for food.  Emily and I love this place in the old part of the St Johns market, they do amazing toasties! <3.  Then it was off to St. Georges Hall.  I love visiting museums and art galleries when I go away.  I am not the type of girl who just wants to get drunk all night and sleep all day, I want to be up and about.  Luckily my friends are just like me.

After St Georges Hall we had a bit of time to kill before meeting up with the troops, so Emmi and I had a quick sneaky cocktail (treats!).

DA CREW TOGETHER!!!

Once we were all together we dumped our stuff at Louisa's and went to Pizza Express for tea.
(Emily and Annie).

(Louisa).

After tea, yes you guessed it, more cocktails!.

The next day we had a small lie in as Louisa had uni.  Once we were all showered we met Louisa for lunch (after uni).  We got our lunch from M&S and ate it whilst sat on a bench near the Tate Gallery.

EM the rebel "DO NOT CROSS THIS LINE"

This would be perfect if the man took it straight on -.-

We took TONS of pictures like these, we found them so cool, but no one else seems to like them.  Thoughts?  Do they look cool?  I know you don't really know what they are, but how do they look?

Art, Titled: Art in an Art gallery

OLAFFFF!!!!! <3

The Disney Store brings so much sheer happiness... until you see the queue -.-

To create a bruise like this is soooo simple, all I did was start off with red eye shadow, creating the shape I wanted.  I then went over it with some purple and then a little bit of green.  Painting it just like a bruise.  I then added some HD red paint to look like a new cut and blood... ta da, finished look. (I then put them all over myself hehe).

What a cone head hahaha!

Emily used some pure black contacts (SOOO COOL!).  I was far too much of a whip to even buy them, I couldn't get them in my eyes hehe.

Louisa the nurse :)

Little and large.  (well large and little from the way we're stood).

Don't know why, but I find this pic so funny! :')

We went to a party upstairs in Louisa's accommodation and then went out, hitting the town hard! (wow that's so lame!).  I won't bore you with the stories, actually I have a couple which are hilarious! However they would embarrass my friends far too much hehe... oh wait, isn't that a good thing?

the next day we went back down to the docs for an ice cream... okay the weather wasn't the best for an ice cream, but they were pure treats <3

LP One :).

That evening we went to the Halloween/ Bonfire night Lantern Festival in Sefton Park.  I couldn't get many photos of the lanterns myself,  as it was something better to enjoy rather than take a picture of (and my camera was just completely pants outside).  but you can view their website here... click me.

I loved loved loved the festival and so did my friends.

Haha we had to buy these massive glowsticks :') soo much fun haha.

After that, we hopped on a bus and went to Hope Street where we met for the Shiverpool Ghost Bus Tour.  I have done the walking tour before with my mum a couple of years back and both have been fab!  I would so love to work on that bus hehe.

BUS SELFIE! :D

Then it was about midnight and we went back to Louisa's, ate junk food, sang songs and just had great fun!

A couple more photos from then hehe:

Sorry this post was mostly piccies and not much writing, but I hope you still enjoyed it :).
