My 2015 New Years Resolutions

I always have the idea of New Year Resolutions, but the likelihood of me actually sticking to them, is well... slim to none hehe.

However, this year I am going to stick to them!! (well i'll try very hard too).

1) Get in to shape

Okay, I don't want everyone to freak out and be like "no you don't need to loose weight" as I am a healthy weight but over Christmas I haven't been too healthy.  I have a gym membership but haven't been in weeks!!  It seemed the minute it hit December I was like "Bye bye gym" hehe.

So my goal is once the New Year starts and I am back at school i'm going to go the gym everyone Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and aim for Saturday mornings (if that doesn't happen though I won't be too upset).  As long as I go three times a week!.

I am also contemplating on buying the Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide.  The reviews I have read seem really promising and all the before and after photo Kayla posts of her clients on Instagram are just amazing.  My only issues is weather I could stick to it or not.

2) Become more studious

In the New Year I really want to concentrate on my school work.  I am in my last year of Sixth Form now and I really want to be able to finish the year and go in to the exams with the confidence that I tried my hardest.

I am going to create a study timetable using the website Get Revising.  I used it for my GCSE's and it came in super useful.  It allows you to plot your time really well and manage all your study, leaving slots for free time.

3) Keep my room clean

I am a self diagnosed hoarder.  I keep everything, never junk, but everything.  I can never get rid of something someone gave me.  I am getting much better at it though and have just done a HUGEE clear out!  I still have some more to do, but in the NY my goal is to keep my room nice and clean and not keep everything.  I want a room that's not full of stuff.  A room where I can see all my things nicely lay out :).

4) Don't stress the small things

I find myself worrying 80 times a day about the future, what i'm going to be doing, what I haven't done, why I'm not at uni yet etc etc.  I always worry about stupid things and I need to stop.  I want to live in the moment more, in the present day.  Spending more time with people around me working on myself now and not worrying about things that aren't going to happen for 10 years or more.  I read a good article once and It said "20 year olds worrying about their 30s" and that's just like me.  I can't control the future, you don't know one day from the next and I need to stop worrying about the future and trust that everything will work out in the end :).

5) Others opinions don't matter

I get better at this one each year as I get older but worrying about what others think of you is a big issue for many of us.  I need to be my own person, if people don't like what i'm doing and are going to judge me for it then clearly they aren't my real friends.  In 2015 I am only going to listen to the opinions of my family and true friends.  Lots of the time we hurt ourselves just so we fit in.  I don't want to fit in.  I want to stand out.  And if that makes me weird, well, just call me the weird girl ^_^.

Please let me know in the comments below what your NY Resolutions are, I would love to read them! ^_^

Thanks for reading, speak soon.
