The last place we visited on the cruise was Lisbon/Lisboa, Portugal. This was my first time in Portugal my family have never seem interested in Portugal before - however we were all wrong. Portugal was gorgeous! I'd love to go there again someday. The people were so polite and the city was so beautiful.
Lisbon, Portugal’s hilly capital, is a coastal city known for its cafe culture and soulful Fado music. From imposing São Jorge Castle, the view encompasses the old city’s pastel-colored buildings, Tagus Estuary and the Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge. Nearby, the National Azulejo Museum displays 5 centuries of decorative ceramic tiles. And just outside Lisbon is a string of Atlantic beaches, from Cascais to Estoril.
This is an art Gallery - doesn't look like it at first sight does it. It was so big and modern.
Monument to the Discoveries
Andy Warhol pieces
Pasties de Belem - a famous cafe in Lisbon. The name is after the pasties taken in the picture below.
They're kind of reminded me of Vol au Vents - a custard filled warm Vol au Vent. Soooo tasty hehe.
Train around the old town.
Lisbon or San Francisco and Rio??? hahaha.
Lisbon really surprised me, i'd definitely visit again and hopefully one day I shall.
